anyone uses keyboards for iPads?
Need to get one as soon.
all advise and reviews welcome

I've looked at keyboards, but there are very few good ones. I think the Logitech one is supposed to be good. I've found after a few months my typing speed on the iPad has really improved and I don't feel they need for the keyboard like I used to.

Apple wireless is supposed to work. Although I have one never tried it on my iPad, as Dale says after a short while you get used to the one on the iPad

My other half needs to write longish documents on iPad hence me looking for keyboard.
I am considering Logitech ultrathin keyboard , apple wireless or just any simple bluetooth keyboard...

When turned into landscape mode its a pretty decent sized keyboard and you can actually touch type on one. I manage it with the mini so I'm sure it will be possible with a full sized one. The auto correct is pretty good and there is also the option of using Siri for dictation.

I looked at Bluetooth keyboards too but then found after a while I didn't feel the need for one.

Works perfectly and you should be able to also use the function keys (volume etc). I say should, as some of them that were supposed to work, didn't when I tried in an earlier version of iOS. I believe though that this was fixed.

I use Apple's Wireless Keyboard with my iPad via Bluetooth. It is fine for my needs and I can type an A4 lenght of text with it, but bear in mind...

If you are going to carry the iPad and the Keyboard around, out and about, not like moving from your coffee table to your bedroom, I meant taking those with you on a train, to an Internet cafe, and such, make sure you turn off the Bluetooth on the iPad.

Otherwise...

Because the F8 key on the Keyboard can Play and Pause your music on the iPad, so if the Bluetooth is still on, any knocks to the F8 key in the bag, or any presses somehow, such as your hands accidentally pressing the F8 key, will start playing music, even any knocks to the F12 key will up the volume to max.
