Hi

I am off on a photography trip in a couple of weeks, during this trip there is time for some help on lightroom.

My question is what is the closest app to lightroom that I can use on my Ipad?
 
Just spotted your post & not sure what I can suggest as I have LR4 but no IPad. However I have Snapseed which I know folks, with Ipads, have installed and they seem to enjoy using it.

You can get a free trial and not sure if it is free on Ipads as I paid around £14 for the PC version.
