Hi, I bought a speaker docking station today and it works like a charm.

Thing is, thought, it docks in portrait orientation and I watch loads of films while doing the ironing :), so want some way of docking it or having it attached to the docking station with a cable so I can watch in landscape orientation....IYSWIM?

Anyone any advise on this?

I need to get the ironing done :exit:

Cheers.

You need an extension cable, available at great expense from Apple or a lot cheaper from Amazon! When I bought an iPod Nano for my wife, they had changed the socket and so I had to get an adapter to use it in the car - cheap ones don't work and the Apple one (which has the required circuit) cost £25.

Yeah, thought that would work.

Found this on Amazon, good reviews but 95p :nono:

I think that the simple 30 pin extension cables are easy to make cheaply, it's the lightning to 30 pin converters and cables that need the circuitry.
