Need to get a case, so:

What case do you use with your ipad 4, are you happy with it?

Thanks

Ive got the iPad smart case on mine and i really like it, seems to do the job well.

Thank you all, I will check them out.

+1 for the Targus Rotate. Really good case that offers protection and stand too.

Here is a brief overview of the one I have that I posted elsewhere.

I had to have the first one replaced but the company M-Edge were excellent.

Here are some photos of my case(s). My replacement arrived today (Monday the 11th March) from m edge in the US, good service as it was posted on Friday (8th March).
The replacement is the green one, they did not have a grey one in stock.
I asked their customer services if they could recommend a way to fix the two parts of the spine from coming apart, (the last pic shows the issue) and they said they would send me a new one.

I like the case itself and I hope the new one does not suffer the same issue, I will find out in the next few weeks I expect. The case can be set to three different angles for viewing as well as flat.
I expect the canvas material to be hard wearing and I like the whole military style of it, it's smart enough without being another leather looking case.
The iPad itself clips into a frame that in turn clips to the jacket. This is so it can be used with other m edge accessories that will be released later down the line.
The only draw back to this system is to change orientation you have to unclip it turn it then clip it in place again. I don't find it a problem as 95% of the time my iPad is used in landscape mode.

Thanks, have been reading you post on avf. Still not decided what to get yet.

Have a look at the Snugg range. Nice leather, extra grip when open. Closes down the iPad when closed. I'm delighted with it.

Thanks, seen them on Amazon. Look Good.

Smart cover only. Taken off when I use the iPad in my hand.

Don't really believe in cases, had my iPad 2 for over 2 years and wasn't careful with it (but also didn't abuse it) it didn't suffer a single scratch. Also had original metal iPhone for 3 years, apart from a scratch by dropping onto concrete, it's also stood up to test of time. These hard metal backs are not easily scratched.

User your gadget like it's designed to!

Seeing as I am a plasterer and often take it on to dirty dusty building sites I like to have some protection around it.:naughty:

Thanks. I need one as I am sure my kids 6 years and 3 years will want to use it, so I need to make sure it is safe in case I am not sitting with them.

Wife has the Snugg one on her mini (oooh er! Sounds rude!) and I have one bought from Currys on my 4. I'll be getting the Snugg one soon!!!:D

Been looking at the Snugg cases on line and like the look of them, any thoughts as to if they would protect the iPad in the hands of a 3 year old.

Thanks

Very little will fully protect an iPad from the ways of a 3 year old. You would need a strong screen protector as well as a very strong case. I have the Snugg, which is a great bit of kit, but no way would that protect from the smaller monster! lol

Thanks, I have ordered the mediadevil screen protectors. Still undecided on the case. Might go for a cheap one for now and supervise them will they use it.

Griffin Survivor may be 3yr old proof!

Thanks, this is the one I went with.

Have fitted it and like the solid feel of it.
