Ipad 2 help

Could anyone please answer this question for me. If I import photos from my SLR onto my iPad, when I export them onto my pc, will they still be the same original size or will the iPad have compressed them? Only reason I'm asking is im going to be working away and would like to work from my iPad and showing clients work from there and if I do any editing I'd like to make sure the files are the same size on export. Thanks

Yes they are the same. I use Photosmith to import/view/tag images on my iPad, and then import them from there straight into Lightroom. However, I don't do any processing.
