Whilst wandering round Tescos this afternoon stocking up I spotted Iomega 1TB External HDDs (USB) for £69.97 !!!! This is the best price I've seen a 1TB external drive for.

This is just the same as this one

So for all those out there who are running out of disk space or wanting to keep some backups it's worth going and getting one (or two).

They're exactly the same price in Staples btw (and have been for a while).
 
i've been running one from tesco on my imac for a couple of months now :D

great drive and the brushed alu case matches the imac soooooooooo well
 
bit of a nuts one but how do you guys find it fits in a camera bag as I suspect my passport drive is on its last legs and a much larger drive would be handy but not as slim and I wonder if it would be an issue in my bag (I go between home and halls a lot)
 
I bought a similar model from Staples a few months back, had a brushed aluminium case but with a rounded front unlike these. Price was similar, but had a Seagate 1 TB drive fitted unlike photon's Samsungs. The Seagate drive model was the same as the two I use in my Powermac G5. All my other drives are Lacie. I've been pleased with the Iomega, no problems.
