Just bought one off Amazon and got to say I'm impressed with the quality and spec for 89 quid.Seiko NH35A movement and proofed to 300m.I gad to remove a link but now sits nicely.
So far I've been checking and syncing to a website time page and it's gaining 9 seconds a day but this might change after a weeks wearing.
Only negative I could say was its heavy but I'm adapting to it now.
Overall I am really happy with it!
Here's a few iPhone shots.

9 seconds a DAY? My 50+ year old watch loses that in about a week.

As said its new so that will change and ALL auto's lose or gain time.

Btw what brand is your 50 year old watch?

Rolex...

Only have and wear it because it was Dad's, the fact that it keeps reasonable time is a bonus!

Very nice.
My friends dad has a Rolex Submariner he bought new in the early 70's when he was on the Ark Royal....a dream watch for sure but my Scottish side always comes rushing out and 89 quid for a watch with this spec is fine for me.
I'll update this after a weeks wearing.

Nice little find is this and after a little googling I see the watch nerd community likes it for modding and what not and its considdered a fine watch for the price....I have a Kinetic Seiko now 18 years old and has seen 2 capacitors in its life and I wish I would have bought the cheaper Automatic version at the time I bought half the price at the time.........

Thanks for posting! OP

Yes they are pretty well liked in the community. For the price they are fine. I almost bought one, but decided to spnd more and get the Steinhart Ocean One instead. Still tempted by the invicta everytime I see one as a everyday basher watch.

Steinhart is a lovely watch,my mate has one and I love it but I prefer this case as its bigger at 47mm

ENJOY AND SAFE DIVING !

Haha just to qualify,I do have my PADI open water diver card!
It will get a dunking every now and then
