Allot of the roads are flooded around here i can't get to work and the taxi company have just phoned and said allot of other roads are flooded as well. The A9 looking good either. Take care if your driving out there.

I know it won't affect most on here but to give those a heads up that are around here.

took me over an hour to get into Inverness this morning from just outside Nairn :mad:
 
Had a meeting with a guy who took 30 minutes to get from Tesco on the Nairn road to the Asda store which should be 5 minutes away. Plenty of photos of the floods and wild weather about but I've personally seen none of it apart from rain rain and more rain.
 
Seen some pictures have to say i have no idea why my Taxi didn't get here as i managed to get into work and it wasn't so bad.. but i know a few people had problems. Hugh were you in Asda inverness yesterday?
 
I believe the Raigmore roundabout was flooded yesterday, so that would be him pretty much stuck between Tesco and the roundabout if he got onto that stretch of road. There was quite a bit of debris washed up on Nairn beach when I was there this afternoon, including a couple of trees that still had some leaves on them!

Small world, my best mate stays near there, up behind Cawdor. I was a up a few weeks ago for a long weekend, we always make a point of going to The Classroom in Nairn on a Sunday evening before I leave on Monday morning.

Yep, I seem to be in there quite a lot these days with work.
 
I love The Classroom best stovies around when they have them on.. The Farr road from Asda was like a river running down with all sort of rubbish and debis washed down.

I'm still to leave for work in Inverness yet. I'm coming from Aviemore but I always leave in plenty time so I can have a power nap before I clock in :D
