Anybody had any dealings with these?

Sent a Tamron 24-135mm SP AF in for a rebuild after the wind knocked it onto a concrete floor .. it has been about 6 weeks since I gave the go ahead on the work and have heard nothing apart from when I phoned 2 weeks ago to be told they had a lot of people on holiday.

They are one of our suppliers.

They are the UK distributors for Tamron, Hoya, Crumpler, Tamrac, and many more.

Very good company.

If you want to PM me the details then I can have a word with them as we have a very good relationship.

Used them in the past, good service altough it took a while

keep chasing them for progress, I did as all I got told was "we are waiting for parts"

The dealing I have had with them was first class less than a weeks turnround, postage included, on a water damaged lens

Used them in the past. Took more than a month for them to repair my Stigma lens. They seem very professional when dealing with my queries. They are authorised reaseller of a lot of photographic equipments.

Yeo good company, had many a beer with their reps at trade shows...;)

Still waiting ... apparently Tamron are at fault (awaiting parts).

As there were a limited number of that particular lens I'm not surprised they're waiting for parts. Intro2020 have been very good in my dealings with them.

Well that parts arrived, they fitted them and the lens still wouldn't work correctly.

Anyway, because they had promised to fix the lens and couldn't Intro2002 then went on a mission to find me a replacement and charging me the same amount as the repair cost. Unfortunately the lens is quite rare in Canon/Nikon mounts but trying to find another in Pentax mount is bloody impossible.

I decided a few weeks ago that I was going to try a different camera and had picked the 7D so phoned them and said I would be happy to accept one in Canon mount ... yesterday a mint used fully serviced copy arrived complete with 6 months warranty.

All in all a very long but worthwhile wait so well done Intro2002 who could have just said it was unrepairable and left me to it.

Problem is I have decided that I still prefer Pentax and don't think I want a Canon after all :bang:
