Hi guys, loooking for a bit of advice with an Intervalometer I bought the other day. It was this exact one listed on ebay;
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1109735....
Hongdak TC 80N3
Says its for a Nikon D80, D90, D5000 and D5100, but my camera is a D3100.
I bought it under the assumtion that the many brand new ones for sale on ebay said they were for the above cameras and also the D3100, so it would probably be compatible, however it doesnt seem to work :thumbsdown: Im just checking that im not doing something silly wrong before I stick it back up for sale and admit my assumption was wrong
To clarify, it plugs into the side port on my D3100 fine, and the remote shutter button works, but when I set it to 'Interval' mode, set the interval time and press start/stop, the camera doesnt take any photos, even though the intervalometer is counting down over and over as if it is taking photos.... Also, when its supposed to be taking photos the camera becomes defunct, you have to turn the intervalometer off first and then its all back to normal.
Thoughts?
Thanks in advance....
