I heard that if a photographer takes a photo with a Canon lens that has a Nikon lens cap fitted, he'll get better pictures than he would do if he took the lens cap off. It's all in the Nikon kit, I'm telling you. Match that beast up with a good ol' bit of Nikon optics and you'll be away.

Looks to me like an inspired use of something to hold one's Nikon lens cap safe while a proper camera/lens takes a shot - similar to me having 5Ds to chock my car's wheels on a hill, or hold the door open on a warm day; much more useful for such than a brick, as someone may steal the brick !!!

Canon gear does have its uses you know, and congrats to Marcel for finding a photographic use for Canon gear, even if it is only to hold a Nikon lens cap
