OK - I need to make an image larger without losing too much detail (if at all possible.......... it's currently 4800 x 2400 pixels, and probably looking to quadruple it - all B&W.

What is out there - preferably free and decent.......... and no I am not talking Torrentzware....

Or failing that does anyone have On.One Genuine Fractals and want to do me a huge favour for a bottle of wine?

If it is to be printed then I would think specialist printing software would be able to do a decent job of scaling it up.

There are plugins for gimp. Reckon some serious pixel peeping will be needed to tell which methods work the best.

it is to be printed to cover a whole wall - so we are talking about 15ft x 7.5 ft, obviously not to be viewed that close up.........

the co who are doing it for the co I work for......... are mentioning large format professional cameras - but i doubt much of their work comes from 50mp hassalblads..........

I've used genuine fractals and Lightroom for enlargements and there isn't that much different.

Is there a genuine fractals trial?
