Initially Strobies will be available in two highly specified kits; both will include 3 x Flex Mounts of your choice.

The Portrait Kit STR100 is priced at £139.99 and includes Beauty Dish, Globe Diffuser Softbox, Barn Door, Snoot, and Honeycomb Grid “20 Degree”. Each item is easily swapped without the need for removing the flex mount from the flashgun via the retaining clips and simply pushes on for a secure fit.

The EFX Kit is priced at £99.99 and includes 2 x Honeycombs Grid 20 & 30 Degree, Snoot, Velcro Strap, Bounce Card set, Honeycomb and Bounce Tube. Ideal for use in addition to the Portrait kit, highlighting the background and creating visual effects.

Available from May 2009, further information will available on the Interfit website shortly.

cheers for the heads up FITP

Looks similar to this piece of kit, only slightly cheaper. Which by the time it hits the shops, it will be cheaper still.

If you look at what you get in the Interfit kit it's actually a lot cheaper, even at the rrp. As it stands it works out at just over a tenner an item and as you say, it'll probably be even cheaper when it hits the shops - I quite fancy getting a set, being a sucker for stuff like this

This was mentioned in another thread but cheers for reminding!

The Portrait kit looks good and very tempting would have thought some method of attaching gells would have been in the FX pack

Also dont forget the price of the flexi grip thing too to be added!

wow i want some of this kit - it means i can keep strobing and still makes its protable without use of power leads. and if the modifiers are good then a bargain!

They look very impressive. Will have to invest in some of this.
Thanks for the heads up

This is pretty cool...reducing the strain on the weakest part can only be a good thing...

Actually it gives me an idea, off to the hardware store!

I poppoed into Calumet this afternoon to see if they had anything to rival the Honl Speedlight modifying kit. They didn't but this looks like it could be just what I'm looking for. Schweet.

Yeah, I noticed that

I guess we'll just need to wait and see......

It would make sense that you buy the Flex Mounts separately as you would want to mix and match according to your Speedlights. Either way, this certainly looks to be worth more serious investigation when they're finally released. Thanks for the link.

Awesome! Cheers for posting that Graham  Very interesting stuff!

The Flex Mounts only have an rrp of £6.99, so even if they're not included it's no great hardship :D

I saw the Viewfinder kit at Focus this year, and was very impressed with it. It also had a very good show price. The ringflash adapter works very well.
Dean:)

Ordered the STR100 kit yesterday from Jacobs. Its reportedly in stock now. I'm intrigued to find out how effective this kit might be.

The kit arrived this morning. I've had a look at it and have to say that it looks to be of flimsy construction, particularly the beauty dish. I can't see this stuff standing much more than occasional use. I think I may be using the returns policy.

any chance of photos Ceebs? I think it would help ALOT of the TP'ers me included :)

Does it come with the flex mount? Just wondering how the fitment is for your flash and how well it goes together.

Thanks in advance!

Oh dear Ceebs that is dissapointing news, Hope you get it sorted and returned and find something else

That is a shame, I had my eye on these kits. Like Oli said, some noneofficial pics would be very helpful.

:plusone: for some pics was going to get these on friday so you could save me some cash...

You're kidding?
I've had the misfortune of using this kit, and it's the biggest pile of **** money could ever be thrown at. Gimmicky, cheap and poorly designed would be being complimentary. I couldn't ever agree it works well (in practice.) As for the pricing - it should be sold in Poundland.
Can only hope the Interfit kit is better, though doesn't sound like Ceebs thinks so. Deja vu me thinks.

They can't be that bad, as ceebs is too busy playing with his new kit to come on here and reply or post photo's of the kit.. ;)
