Yip, i think she had the plate for a while but put it on that car and picked up on 31/10(Halloween).I dont think it was a Carrera at the time but was a black Porsche, although she may have swapped to a Carrera in the past year or two.
 
I was looking at getting a new bike when 'R' was the current reg. I called up the DVLA but they wouldn't let me buy P155 OFF. Said it was a witheld plate and would never be seen on the public roads.

Folk just stick on plates that are not legal and switch them at MoT time.
 
There was one guy driving around with a bright yellow BMW M3 near where I was working 10 years or so ago. He had the plate "M3 0 WOW" on it. Now, this is possibly just rumour and speculation, but the story is that he didn't own it, he just kept paying £30 fines whenever he got stopped.
 
Talking of Fiona Richmond & Fiona Fullerton this needs a screw in the right place :)

Talking to my brother, he thinks it was a a Toyota not a Range Rover but it was seen in the Guildford area (surrey)
 
some time ago saw a woman drive a Range Rover through Strathaven

sure it said B15XUL ---- well, if you've got it, flaunt it ......:eek:
 
just outside newcastle a few years a go a woman came hurtling into the carpark to drop her daughter off at the cinema in a bright yellow M3 soft top with the following rather appropriate plate.

M381 TCH or more so M3 81TCH
 
on another note, anyone know who has the plate 2AB ?

it was on a rolls Royce phantom parked outside an office in peterborough on Friday.

JAG 1 (on a real XKSS) used to belong to a guy that lived up the road from me, I was told he spotted some guy driving around in an old Escort van with his plate on it :lol:
 
My old boss used to have EG02 LRG, got his porsche cayenne and had the number plate made with new spacing to read 'EGO 2 LRG'. Always though it was quite good!
 
A workmate has the surname Yeo. His wife currently has YE05 BUG on a Beetle convertible. He currently has another YEO plate on another car. He has just bought a Ford Kuga for his wife and she didn't want YE05 FAT as a reg. Women no pleasing them. :lol:
 
we got one round here that used to be on a range rover, but last time I saw it was on a Chrysler 300 - M4 FIA - Which ios also odd as having just tried to look it up doesn't exist either. Wonder if it should be M4 FLA

I saw a Lamborghini in Monaco a few years ago and the number plate was GR33D.

Jimmy Jones the comedian has UME 1M. It was the normal reg. on a Vauxhall that he'd bought as new back in 1974. Not long after the car was seen driving around with U ME 1M. He or his family still have the plate. Last time I saw it was a year or so ago on a Jeep Cherokee.
 
PEN 1S used to be owned by Steve Parrish who raced trucks and Caterhams amongst other things.

About 20 years ago I saw 007 on a Rolls Royce in Knightsbridge, that number is crying out for an Aston.

We used to have M33 WOW on a Pheonix Yellow M3.

Several years ago, in all the news papers was a story of a scrap dealer, who had become very rich, but he had no intension of never changing is ways, jeans with holes, oil covered cloths, down the pub with the lads, His wife did change with the new found money, doing all the things that a rich wife would do, new friends, health clubs, golf, expensive lunches, she tried to make her husband change, but it was no good, She then tried to shame him by getting a personal number plate for his new range rover, she got him H15 LOB. (Hi slob), the insult went straight over his head, it never bothered him, but he did buy her one without her knowing, went into the garage at night and put it on her merc sports, it was`nt for a few days, after people had been pointing that she noticed her new plate....... H15 LAG (Hi slag)....don`t know if there still together :naughty::naughty:
 
After a workmate accidentally started to put petrol into his diesel engined car. (He realised his mistake after almost a gallon but filled the rest of the tank with diesel and all was fine). He got a bit of stick but plenty of stick off one individual whose sexuality we have doubts about. So as revenge he wrote GAY 1 in black marker pen on a bit of A4 paper, folded it neatly and taped it over his front number plate. He drove home from work (a good 20 miles) completely unaware, then parked outside his house for all his neighbours to see for a couple of hours before he noticed it. :lol:

Keith Harris has ORV1L. Seen him driving around Poulton-le-Fylde several times with that on his Merc.
