Another meteorologically-related heads up. There are strong signs of a REAL heatwave to affect the bulk of the UK as we go through next week. But what may happen is that somewhere around the UK (most likely in the south east), temperatures may well reach the 90 F (33 C) mark.
Lovely if you like that kind of thing, but it'll be sheer hell for me what with me being a greenhouse worker. :bang: However, I'm hoping I may get some reprieve in the form of sea breezes what with me living next to the coast, and that should apply to most coastal areas.
Naturally, there'll also be those obligatory isolated heat-related thunderstorms which may crop up almost anywhere around the UK, but more especially inland where the heat is at its most strongest.
