Looking for some insurance for my equipment which is the best for the money, around £1200 cover

You should be able to get extended contents cover on your home insurance that will provide cover for losses away from the home. You may have to tell them what equipment you have. My contents covers unspecified items up to £1500 for each item, covered for theft/accidental loss anywhere in the world.

Exactly this, I just put my D810 on my house insurance worked out just a pound extra a month on my premium
