Does anyone have any comments on amateur photographers equipment insurance in the uk
Doesnt take much gear to be outside the contents cover plus i fear most home
Contents not adequate.
Please let me know ideas ive looked at a few on the web with mixed reviews
Photoguard appears to be the best!

Thanks zippy

I've got a policy with Photoguard covering around £10K value at around £330 a year including in car and travel cover and hire of equipment as well. I've done a £250 voluntary excess but that's not essential. The wife also has a basic policy covering around £2500 for around £100 a year.

I did take out a policy with E&L but I wouldn't really recommend them as the excess runs around 7-8% which would be a lot for me. I've also heard Aaduki are quite good as well. Have a look on google for any others.

Thanks both comments useful will deffo go with one of them
And what a good forum posted mesg lunchtime and got response fast
Much appreciated
