Can anyone recommend a company that insures camera gear. I am travelling the world for about 18 months so it will need international coverage. I will also be taking a macbook pro so if there are companies that can do both, it would be an advantage

Any advice appreciated

Photoguard, Aaduki (check spelling on that).. there's 2 to be going on with.. i'm sure there'll be lots more suggestions along fairly quickly.

Checkout Towergate Camerasure. Tend to be more pro insurance, but may be able to offer what you want especially as it's world wide cover you need

I took out a policy through Aaduki today, they only give 60 days worldwide cover as standard, not sure if this can be increased to a full year though.

Photoguard looks very easy to use, £277 Per annum for about £3,400 worth of kit including a laptop. not too bad
