INSURANCE QUESTION

Hey guys i was wondering if anyone could recommend me any insurance companies please as I'm looking to get my kit insured around 5-6k worth would be more then sufficient

I've got mine insured with my home contents insurance. Didn't cost any extra and I am covered against theft, loss and accidental damage anywhere.

I currently have mine insured on home insurance but it depends on if you sell images. If you sell images home insurance is usually void so you have to go with specific insurance (include PL too if it's a business).

Same here, I'm with Direct Line (Plus policy, think it had a higher possessions limit). You can often adjust the valuables limit to suit, so maybe worth looking at home policies before a specialist one.

I'm with John Lewis and upped my insurance to cover my hols last year. Think it was a £25 extra to cover £2500 worth. This year I let it ride so I'm covered all year.

Depends how much gear you have and how much it would cost to replace it with brand new gear. Home insurance just wouldn't cover it, so I've got specialist insurance cover that covers all my gear including theft from a car and insured for taking my gear aboard.
