I'm doing a couple of wedding photo shoots and videos next year (possibly get some sooner than that), and I was wondering about insurance, to cover things such as:
1. Me not being able to do the job through theft/damage to equipment, faults, personal injury/ill health and consequently getting sued for not doing the job.
2. People being injured through, say, falling over an unattended tripod and suing me for that.
It might sound a bit daft/extreme, but with 'compensation culture' being what it is and people would rather blame somebody else because THEY weren't watching where they were going, I don't think I'd be happy doing the job knowing I wasn't completely covered.
What sort of insurance do I need to be looking at? Public liability? Indemnity?? My googling has not turned up many definitive answers.
