Insurance - any recommendations?

Now my gear is starting to accumulate are there any good insurance companies out there?

I don't know any really good ones - but steer clear of Zurich :thumbsdown: I was with them until recently and they have only just paid me out for straightforward claim I made in October

Is it worth looking at extending your house hold contents insurance?

When you are out on paid work you might need public liability insurance as well. (sorry)

all mines covered on my house contents insurance, it even covers me away from the house.

I am just about to switch to glover and howe after being with E&L for three years, no claims, but their reputation has scared me off.
