You could always sign up, wait five minutes then delete it.

I deleted my account today.

1. I was not using it anymore
2. The rights will eventually change again to mean they will sell your photos
3. I just wanted too...

Basically i was not using it and rather then have my photos i uploaded eventually be sold on (not right now but there will probably changes in the future to allow this) just delete the account.
 
Who cares, its a great excuse to flip Zuck the bird 8)

Deleted my account as well. Not sure if any better but use camera+
 
Haven't deleted any photos, I've only a handful on there as only just got a smart phone. But I'm no longer actively using it.
