Hi, I'm new to real photography.
What I mean is for years I have taken snapshots with my mobile phone, sometimes pulling off good shots.
My wife recently bought me a Lumix G2, and I have taken loads of shots of things that I needed photographs of, but now I lack inspiration for creating some new shots, and bettering my skills.
Can someone direct me to a thread where there are projects, or tips on getting inspired.
Thanks.

I can't link as I'm on my phone, but have a look at the '52' on this site. Basically, you're given a theme a week to shoot. Might get you thinking...

Although its not a website, the book photographers eye was quite good I found, also the book understanding exposure I think is a staple requirement. I learnt lots reading that book and then expermineting out in the filed to hone my skills

Well I've never see Penshaw Monument looking quite so impressive, so you clearly have an eye!!!

My absolute favourite atmospheric location not far from there is the Cloisters of Durham Cathedral.

Good luck and all the best

I usually find that going out with my camera is enough to inspire me, aslong as I go out with my camera and have the intention to take photos I usually find inspiration out and about!
