insomaniacs Roll Call

Although most of the clocks (or at least a good percentage of them) are radio controlled, my internal one isn't one of them so I woke at a reasonable time (in BST terms!). Used the extra hour to good advantage altering the other clocks that need it manually (or at least the ones I can do without waking my wife!)

Y cant kids ever understand the clocks going back!! 5.30 is not a reasonable time on a sunday to go and watch the tv!
I curse that extra hour grrrrrrr

My daughter woke at exactly 6am (usually 7am)

I quickly threw a duvet on the floor and took her out of her cot. She went back to sleep and an hour later she's still asleep. Hoping its correcting her body clock back

Well I work up 3 times then the Dogs woke at the "new 6am" I have just sheep sheared them both, photos later maybe.

:'(:'(:'( been in bed 3 hours without sleep, reason being I have (I think) a torn muscle upper shoulder/back, been getting worse every day, tried everything, cold/hot compresses, way to many painkillers but just getting worse, guess it's the doctors in the morning for an appointment sometime next week if I'm lucky :( :'(

Evening all  in my case though I'm on nights
My problem is getting some sleep when I get back home to bed in the morning
I normally sleep for two or three hours then wide awake
Thankfully I only do two nights a week

'allo!

It's pretty normal for me to be seeing these hours :)

 After a slightly worried dropping off last night due to the cat coughing (furballs), I woke at 02:30. That last cuppa needed to escape! Better than not waking up, I'm sure. Went to find the cat and she was still where she had been yesterday evening, lying on a CH pipe junction (well, on the usually warm floor over it!) so I checked to see if she was OK. Of course the little cowbag is! Started purring instantly so I left her to it and crawled back into my pit. 30 seconds later, a purring orange monster leapt onto the bed and wormed her way down between us and stretched. after 45 minutes of cuddle, she went to the foot of the bed (still purring) and is (AFAIK) still there although the purring has stopped. Unfortunately, as the only lasting aftereffect of last year's surgery, once I'm properly awake, I'm awake and rarely manage to drop off again so where better to come than TP?

Off shopping now - need a new Sky remote and "eye" for the conservatory... Amazon, here I come!

Woken by Yv, who's driving up North now [pleasurable] and by a Loki kitten who needed to test my knee with his claws [unpleasant]. So I turned on the television just in time to see Sachin Tendulkar walk to the crease against the Windies in his penultimate Test Match and 10 runs later, I've just seen him walk back! Now I've got to decide whether to stay up and watch this good Test Match [the England-Australia game is rain delayed at the moment] or try to go back to sleep through the kitten's mad hour!

I'm here somewhat inebriated from ripping the town a large one in celebration of my upcoming 50 years of existence.

Also pleased as punch as I have just had a short story published that was inspired by my wonderful 7 year old daughter Amie
