Infrared photography

Hi all

I'm considering modding an EOS30D for IR photography is anyone here doing IR photography with a modded camera and if so any tips or suggestions would be appreciated? also can anyone recommend a decent book on the subject?

I would get someone to do it for you!! you need to replace the filter with a clear plate of the same thickness i think.. dont risk breaking it..

What I'm hoping for is tips or suggestions on infrared photography not on modifying the camera
