Lovely set Jon.....Congrats!
I see the usual collection of DM whackjobs are chiming in beneath the article.
It's weird, The image of the Padma River.....I've seen something similar before, and although I know it's not, it appears that the river rushes over an steep edge and into a gorge.
It's the most amazing illusion.

OMG, Whos flying the plane.................................:exit:

In all seriousness, congrats, I've seen a couple on here before and think there are some super pictures.
I would love the Lake Urmia, in northwestern Iran, An open cast mine one, Padma River, in Bangladesh, and aerial view of an industrial zone.

Awesome shots!

However, this comment was written by a real life DM reader, who amazingly, is also an adult - " - "The British pilot's amazing photography shows the world in a light impossible for the human eye to detect" If he shows it in a light human's can't 'detect', how the hell are we able to see the pictures? Do you nimrods even read what you write, never mind comprehend what you write?? - "

This image is one of my favourites. I took it the first time I flew over the area. In over 20 attempts I coukd never repeat it, so I guess it needs a certain combination of angle of sun, direction of flight and water level in the river.

The article itself is written by the agency. Although I have some input into it (the article is sent to me for approval before publication) I have no influence on how the paper itself decides to edit it once they have paid to use the article.
