I am going on holiday to Timberscombe, Somerset next week. Can anyone suggest any good photographic opportunities in the Exmoor/North Somerset and Devon area, bearing in mind that I am disabled and cant walk more than a few yards. I have a car, and a dog with me.
Thanks
Sue

Put your holiday town name into google maps, click on more on the top right of the screen, click on pictures then click on any of the pictures shown and make your choices, there’s loads of places to go, Watchet is one of my favourites.

I hope the weather is kind to you ladysue. Like most areas in the West Country, Exmoor has some of the most stunning scenery which can be seen simply by driving around. A nice round trip would be from Timberscombe (almost bought a house there a year or so ago) up to Dunster (very picturesque) then to Minehead (West Steam Somerset Railway headquarters), along the A39 all the way to Lynmouth, then the B3223 up through the valley of Watersmeet. If you have time you could then carry on down to Dulverton coming back up A396 to Timberscombe. If time is running short, instead of dropping down to Dulverton, go up through Exford on the B3224 to Weddon Cross and join the A396 there to Timberscombe.

I was in they Valley of Rocks near Lynmouth today. it's about 20 miles from Timberscombe.

Some high cliffs and interesting rocks if you like. Beautiful sunset as well.

Oh and some wild goats :D

Thank you. I have been there as a child ( many years ago:) )
