Hiya guys and girls!

New to the site and looking forward to gaining everyone's advice!

In my spare time I am the photographer for a couple of local car clubs and wondered if anyone had any advice on how I could improve my photos! Angles/ lighting etc?

At present I am using a Sony dslr but will hopefully be upgrading to a cannon eos 1000d when I can find one

All advice would be greatly welcomed

What model Sony and why are you upgrading?

Upgrading to a better lens or changing to the more manual modes may help you take better photos.

It was the Sony A100 and never really took to it! Strange really but didn't feel that it felt right when using it!


Played with a cannon 1000d and really liked it

Not sure how to add photos so people can slate them ( for improvement purposes of course lol)

Upload them to Flickr and then you can link to them.

If you've played with it and it feels better, then go for it.

Check out the classifieds (if you can) as you can pick up a bargain in there.

Yes you can post from photobucket

Do lots of reading, get feedback on photos, learn as much as you can and work out what you will need.

Photobucket I found left photos looking a bit flat so prefer using Image Shack now
