Indoor flash sports photography

Had a go at photographing at a local boxing club last night. Light was often poor and had generally disastrous results. Has anyone any links to a good website with guidance on this topic. merv

I had a go and the gym was a dark hole I ended up bouncing the flash off the wall behind me and white bit of ceiling, the rest of the ceiling was brown. Even with the ISO cranked up shutter speeds were poor.

When I shoot these type of sports I try not to use flash. Occasionally when I do I try to use only the minimum so bit of a balancing act.
