Hello everyone,

I am the definition of beginner to the wonderful world of photography. I've been a massive fan of photography for a while and have finally taken the plunge (if only ankle deep for the time being).

I'll endeavour to research as much as I can, but I apologise in advance for my inevitable stupid questions.

Any suggestions for good sources of information, inspirational websites/blogs, clubs (in Manchester or Staines) and great places to empty my wallet will be massively appreciated.

I'm also a "noob" as my sons would say. Based in the North East and with a very basic camera as yet.
