Ordered a tripod from them yesterday afternoon and it arrived this morning. Top quality and top service at a great price.:clap::clap:

I second that - I have a monopod and tripod of theirs - both excellent and when I needed some advice it was quick and helpful.

Top marks

Ditto.

I had a small problem with my ballhead (oo-er!) a few weeks back. Emailed Joe at RedSnapper, a couple of emails exchanged that day, and it was replaced with no fuss whatsoever.

:plusone: great service, item came really fast. Might get a Window Mount Panning Head next

thumbs up from me to, had 2/3 different products over the past year and service has always been second to none

have seen the name redsnapper pop up in a few posts on here, take it they are good tripods?
after alot of reading on here i think i need to get a tripod, i got a manfrotto monopod with a tilt head a few weeks back when i got my d90 but i really cant see me using it, im going to see if i can take it back to the shop(if they'll refund me) and hope to get a tripod which i think i'll get a lot more use out of.
has redsnapper got a site?

+1 purchased two redsnapper 283s, highly recommended. Have to be careful not to untwist the legs too far though, as they come totally off and fall apart into small pieces requiring re-assembly. I'm one of those people who never read instructions :)

Been there and done that :bonk:

Contacted Joe and he gave me re assembly instructions and it's been fine since. Fiddly put back together, but again my fault as I should of read instructions.

+1 Redsnapper FTW.

Got a 283 tripod / head and a duo camera bag.
Can't fault them at all.

I actually enjoyed working out how to put the tripod legs back together when I undid one to see how it worked :D

lol thanks for the heads up, so you basically only need to untwist the legs enough for them to slide out or do they untwist too far quite easily?

Correct. to be fair, you have to twist them all the way off (20 or so times round) to do this, so once you know, you can't do it 'accidently' :)
