I have the Benq. Its a cracking monitor indeed and a lot cheaper than the likes of Eizo or NEC. I calibrate it with an i1 Display Pro. You cannot and will not go wrong with it! Even comes with a hood included.

Benq SW320 (4k) is even better from what I've seen at a show.

However, a 2015+ imac 5K is probably an even more advanced and a more cost effective solution. I am thinking of getting one used very soon.

I've got a Benq SW320 and it's great. So well calibrated from the factory that I've not even bothered doing it. Expect I will eventually just to see if there's any difference but I'm chuffed to bits. Two of my friends have also just bought one after seeing it.

Thanks very much for the reply's guys, going to look at the Benq SW320 online.
Quick glance Gary is it worth the extra £526 versus the 27in
Thanks again

I was going to buy the 2700 but then started reading reviews of the SW320. A couple of the reviews mentioned that it was a step up from the 2700, which in itself was an excellent monitor.

I came to the conclusion that the SW320 was punching well above its weight and to get better would cost significantly more. I'm extremely happy with it. As I said two friends have also bought one and they are also very pleased.

I did have to replace the graphics card in my PC to run it. My card was only running 2500 x 1600 pixels. It seems that most half decent newer cards will run this monitor comfortably, even some of the integrated graphics.

Gary do you mind me asking where you bought, I see them in Calumet okay

Dell UltraSharp is the usual recommendation - run a search. I have two, one is six years old. I use them for high quality professional work for publication, never had any complaints and wouldn't dream of buying anything more expensive :)

I have a Dell UltraSharp of around the same vintage. I find it excellent.
I don't have a wide experience of monitors and can only make an actual comparrison with an Asus monitor of the same size that I used to use. Long thin horizontal objects such as an electricity power line had a "saw tooth" effect on the Asus, but the same photograph viewed on the Dell were rendered perfectly formed and crisp.

I've had a couple of Dell Ultrasharps but I've never tried the high res Ultrasharps. Mine was only a 1920 res one. I used it for several years but it eventually had a couple of spots on it that were a different colour.

I did a lot of research into the high res Dell monitors and others like Eizo etc. So much I started seeing RGB colour graphs in my sleep.

I decided that the BenQ was simply better. Whether it is or not I'm not qualified to say as I will never have the opportunity to compare it aganst any other except my old Ultrasharp which, as you might expect, it kicks clean out of the park.
