Important update regarding the uptake of film photography

The last two sentences of the first page ( running into the second page) relate very well to the views of some of us ( @StephenM and myself at least) that formats much smaller than 5x4 are little more than subminiature toys :exit::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

It reminds me of something I heard once on the radio: "We can learn from the past - mostly how not to do things the hard way!" :naughty: :coat:
 
And all those half-plates for just half a crown (2/6 or 12.5p for younger readers) :) The advice to stick with the one make until you master them is still sound.

That’s why most of us have a varied selection of different branded exposing material ( film, glass plates, paper and alternative process) stored in our fridges :p:LOL:
