In other news, the poll closed with the winning option being, "I'm Andy and I regret selling my Voigtlander". I propose launching a Kickstarter campaign to get Andy a new one as it's clear this is a subject close to the hearts of many people. ;)

"Keep it, CLA" and "Send it back" were tied before I made my mind up so my initial indecision was reflected by the group consensus. :)

I still think my <insert random camera> does everything you need - you should buy one of them

3 votes for "Jesus, another camera?" means I can't. Or that I've already got one, I lose track of them in the spare room.

I'll put you in touch with my man in Japan. He'll probably send you a coffee-can pinhole camera with "Vigtlonder" scrawled on it with a Sharpie but don't worry, that's only because Google Chrome malfunctioned.

Quick update, Miles is back from holiday and has quoted me £50 for a full service of the little P so today it's off on an adventure with my poorly GS645S. It's like a Disney film where the brave little camera takes his big dumb friend on an adventure across the country in which they'll learn lessons, make strangers from friends and annoy the crap out of everyone with derivative chirpy songs that 6-year-old children won't stop singing in the car to the point where you want to drive into a tree if only that'd make him shut the hell up.

I may have over-thought that analogy.

The possibilities are endless with this one...

I'm looking forward to the scene where the old mechanical workhorse SLR takes on the fancy dan digital cameras in a duel to the death, awaiting the moment when their batteries run out.
