I am just wondering what is the best way to show photos? I did save photos to a small laptop, and carry that around with me, and this was to show friends and family etc. But even a small laptop is a little bulky to cart around, plus the images don't look very good on the laptop. Just wondering what other image viewers would be better, lighter to carry about and better screen resolution?

Tablet or a netbook,I use a Motorola Xoom with a 10" screen couple of pals use Ipads, personally if I were shopping again I would look at a 7" tablet as I think it would do what I want and be a bit more portable.
Having said all that I am not sure if the screen resolution will be any better than a laptop although the Ipad looks pretty good.

Just a pain lugging a laptop about, even a small netbook. Just looking at alternatives  Just having a look at the Tablet option as you suggested :)

Go for an iPad, the screen is just wondeful. Most other tablets have screens that look totally rubbish unless you view them head-on, if there are more than two people trying to view at the same time then somebody is going to get some very horrible colours. The iPad's IPS screen retains good colours at very wide viewing angles.

The Asus transformers also has an IPS screen and features a mini HDMI out for plugging into other displays and a micro sd port.

I am not familiar with this product but it looks nice, I will have a quick look when in town tomorrow
