Image opens at 25%

[reheat module]

on opening an image in ACR in Elements 13, the image automatically jumps to a size of 25%, which is bigger than the screen. Previously it opened automatically at a size which had a small space all round. Is there a simple default setting that I can't find?

I don't use this and the book I found on learning Elements 13 never mentioned a setting however you can apparently press Ctrl + 0 (CMD+0 for Mac) or double-click the magnifying glass for it to fit to screen.

not sure if this will work , but worth looking at. its a script you add to the photoshop ( may well work in elements too and you just create a macro shortcut. one click ok a pre assigned keyboard but and you have the zoom / percentage you want
