Shame it doesn't run natively on Macs but only under Parallels Desktop.

for Nikon its under 'Manufacture Notes' 'Shutter count' and the TAG-ID is 0091 - not to say it'll be the same for a Cannon though.
 
Ah thanks. It isnt there for the Canon's (well not the 40D at least) shame Canon dont seem to like to make that info available :(
 
shutter info comes under the maufacturer notes sections...I think if it's not there it can't read the shutter count from the EXIF - I think some (all?) Canon cameras don't include this in the EXIF :shrug:
