HI All
Just getting started with Lightroom, it's going ok but anything computer related is a minefield to me.
What I would like to know is when you export to Flickr what's the recommended image format . At the moment I've got the file setting to jpeg but there are other options ( tiff, dng etc).

For what you are using them for stick to .jpg
PSD is a photoshop file-useful if you want to do any work on it in PS
DNG is a digital negative, again I think most editing programs will open it
Tiff is BIG and tends to be used for printing or further editing
Original-what it says on the tin, most likely to be manufacturer specific RAW files, CR2, RAF etc
All other than 'jpg are BIG files because jpg is compressed and is "lossy" but I am not going into that as it will get too complicated and I am not sure I can explain it satisfactorily( basically the file degrades with editing but I don't understand why)
