Imac

I am thinking of changing to an iMac, will be used for P&P and general home use, don't want too spend lots but will be a new one, will be looking at running Lightroom and elements 9 or 10, I do have CS5 but I don't use it too its maximum as yet !!

Any recommendations on which one ?

Check out scrumpymacs, look at their website and eBay and call them as they often have unlisted stock high end white intel one or any aluminium lea would do you fine

Apple refurb shop is a good place to look. There's little wrong with the base model 21 inch if you add more memory to it. Mine was a bit sluggish until I upped it to 8GB. Crucial do decent memory. Apple charge way too much for extra memory.

21" iMac will do what you want. Although the 27" is better, as it has a bigger screen, but is more expensive.

Refurbs are fine if you can get one from Apple as they save you a bob or two. However they don't always have what you want in stock

Nip down to your local Apple store and see what suits you.
