IMAC OR PC

In my experience, Mac's are overated.
I would like one just to use it for an extended period and see if I can be converted.

I've got a nice i7 box upstairs with a very nice monitor and both together set me back over £400 less than the equivalent iMac. PCs suffer a poor reputation because cheap PCs are poor quality. Especially laptops. At least when you buy a Macbook Pro you can be sure it's got a sturdy chassis, a nice keyboard and a nice display. Something PC Laptop manufacturers will scrimp on to make it look like they are giving extra value for money.

Both OSes have their foibles. I've not seen a Windows blue screen since W7 and I'm responsible for 11 PCs at the studio and 3 at home.
