oh damn, just posted this up in 'Talk Photography'
I think its brilliant![]()
seriously who sold to the fail![]()
ps.. I wouldn't plan any trips to Wales soon..
why's that? are you thinking they're going to suspend low flying for a while?

Quite possible they could avoid the usual areas, or even head North to Scotland?
Not too long ago a program was on Welsh TV, regarding complaints that Jets 'performed' for people on the hill..
This will just fuel there petition to ban low flying around the 'Loop'![]()
Thanks to the Guy who sent his pics to the press
This will seriously effect anymore low level sorties...
Just feed the Anti Lowfly Lobby more ammo, Superb :nono:
Usual comments like... Wasting Tax payers money!.. The Government are already after making more military cut backs.. Low Level Flying could be one of em!!
I know the comment from a RAF spokesman laughed off the picture, but I bet for sure behind closed doors the WSO gets a good roasting
Nice one cheers
ps.. I wouldn't plan any trips to Wales soon..
one blokes selfishness could potentially ruin a hobby for many more....Great work for probably £200....

What on earth are many people on about here?
Quite often a Nav is doing nothing in the back seat, why on earth is a military lad not allowed to have a joke?
Having just left the RAF after 25 years, I know how the sense of humour works & believe me, most of the civilian population would cringe at what we laugh at.
Its called coping, the crews cant afford to enjoy their flying while on operations, so surely they are entitled to have a laugh here. So many here are simply peed off that they never took the shot!
The crew will not be in big trouble for this, there will be a token statement about professionalism.![]()

It just shows how fearless and great our pilots/navigators are in the RAF, these fly 50ft above the ground that's why they were sent into the iraq bombing missions by preference of the American military Gulf war II.
A light hearted brilliant show of sense of humour by a navigator who was NOT flying the GR4.

Rumoured to be £50 actually
Don't beleive that, knowing the space rates and number of appearances in various publications, it'll be more than that.
Add the legit fees to all of the unauthorised usage fees (which will run and run) and a determined photographer could easly work that pic to well over £500
There's (another) new thread on this in Talk Photography, this time with a BBC link. The photo in that story is credited to Picture It Now - haven't compared the cropping to see if the original photographer's copyright has been cropped off.
