I was just telling my girlfriend that I had reserved a D300s at Digitaldepotuk and she told me I should cancle the reservation when I asked her why she went upstairs and brought down the following

1X Nikon D300s
1X 50mm f1.8
1X 16-85mm
1X Hoya filter
2X 4GB CF and SD Cards
1X slingshot Lowepro bag

She told me it was a surprise for xmas but i could have it now.

Yaay, I am so excited about it taking it out tommorrow.

Finally after giving up my D300 almost a year ago I have a superb SLR again and cant believe how much I missed it.

I'm so happy I am telling everyone.:)

Now I'm in trouble I need to get a better present for her :thinking:
 
You've very luck to have such a generous girl friend. :) Wish I had one.. :(

Oh just a word of advice, don't sulk on Christmas Day if she hasn't bought a couple of SB900's and a carbom tripod or two, just ghet her to buy them in the sales;)
 
OMG, fingers crossed thats what my wife has bought me...however I doubt it

Man I wish my other half would splash out on me time to time. I bought her a Chanel handbag as a wedding present. It cost me 2k, I could have bought some nice glass with that!:bang:
 
lucky boy indeed....... i thought i was lucky with a battery grip and a monopod from my wife:D
 
hopefully next I will get an SB-900, 85mm f1.8 and a sigma 70-200 f2.8
I heard that Nikon give away a SB-900 if you purchase a D300s before Jan 2010, does anyone have any information about that offer?
 
I think it's only preregistered Nikon users.

You would have needed to have an email from them with a voucher in it. They're also non transferrable.
