I sent a couple of photos in to my local BBC television centre for possibly showing before their weather shot on the local tea time news programme - and they showed mine on Wednesday night's programme.

The presenter called it ""fabulous" and I'm so chuffed. The photo was taken last Saturday night. I've been wanting to go out to take some low light photos for a while, so I finally got round to it and thoroughly enjoyed it. I took some longish exposures - some 2 minutes long. This particular picture was 92 seconds. I loved the colours that I got.

It's just made my week and year. I've only been taking photos for a year and I've enjoyed is so much. The joy you get when you take some great photos is amazing.

I sent them a couple of photos and this is the one they chose.

Lovely shot. I crossed the Humber bridge on thursday night and thought I wouldn't mind getting a shot like this.

Yes it is the Humber Bridge and it was shown on Look North Jo so you probably will have seen it.
