I'm Off to India

Hmmm.........D'you think he'll tell us...........or was it TOOO terrible for words?  :D

May be getting you too excited here - it wasn't him it was his wifes (female) cousin ......but it was

Still sounds like good ammo

Well I'm back and many thanks to Robert for the ride to Heathrow in the snow (and what a journey! Suffice it to say we were the first to check in!) and the ride back yesterday.

Jet lag and travel tiredness are abating now - just washing ironing and tidying up left!!

India was amazing - my images will not do it justice.

I was aghast at both the squalor and the beauty and the dignity of the people there.

Our week's tour was in dull wet weather so the Taj Mahal was not at its best but it is one hell of a thing to see regardless!

Elephant rides, forts, temples, villages, crashing the wedding of the High Commissioner of Agra's son, appearing on Indian TV, swimming at the foot of a waterfall, rinding through old Delhi in a pedal rickshaw and buzzing through Bombay in an autorickshaw and a week on a beach in Goa to wind down!

Its a place that has to be seen to be believed!

I'll post some images in dribs and drabs over the next few days but would like some advice on how to set up my own web gallery to post a larger collection. Some of you folk have excellent galleries and I'd love to have my own! All advice welcome!

And of all the gear I took the three accessories that were invaluable:

Talk Photography lens cloth;Talk Photography lens pen and my newly acquired Lowepro Mini Trekker AW - a superb bag and thank god it has an AW cover!!!

I'll pop round with your presents later Robert!!!:D

Oh and the massage....maybe I tell later!!!
