mystic-cay: I've gone and had another look at your site. While I see there's still an ' in "photo's", here's some things I'd say:
- Do you have any editing software? All your photos could do with a bit of refining, I'd say. Simple things like increased contrast, that, as a rule, will always improve a photo (don't overdo it though).
- Only put your very best work on your website. Imagine that you're a brand. Every photo you upload should be able to stand up by itself and represent you. So, for example, I'd say you don't need two of those close ups of pink flowers at the top of your site. You have to be ruthless and cut as much as you can. If you end up with only three amazing photos, that's fine, you'll add more in future. It's important to try and only upload what you think is your very best work. Detach yourself from the photos (i.e. how hard they were to take, just how long you waited for that sunrise, that sort of thing) and ask others' opinions too, before uploading.
-When you take photos always THINK. Try and decide what the focus is saying and therefore what the focus should be. Obviously, you can take two photos of the same thing that say completely different things. You can change your focus, through composition, framing, the actual focal point, exposure, where you put the camera etc. etc.
I hoped that help. Good luck!
