Hello everyone, my names Danny and I'm 27 currently living in Scotland. I've recently started to take my Photography a bit more seriously than just snapping away on my iPhone so I just bought myself a Nikon D3200 with an 18-55 lens kit.
I signed up here to look through your vast tutorials and to basically familiarise myself as much as I can with the best, tried and tested settings/modes for taking certain pictures. Up to now I've just used my iPhone and uploaded to Instagram (@anenglishlad) but I've always thought I've had a keen eye and thought it about time to invest in some decent equipment.
My main interests will be in Motorsport and Landscapes, so I'll be purchasing a 55-300 and some decent landscape filters as soon as money permits. Right now though I'm just getting out and about trying to get used to this camera, which I'm loving so far. I'm a regular at Knockhill and I'm always out and about and some stunning local spots, and there's only so much you can do with your phone.
I look forward to having a good nose about and learning a great deal from you lot
