Beginner I'm looking for easy to use Linux video software ?

Do you just want simple tools to trim and join or do you want colour grading, effects etc? I've not done any video editing for year but have a Linux box Upstairs with the software.

If you don't mind new distros then check out Ubuntu studio and Linux lite AV.

Thanks Toni, I'm just after something simple where I can cut videos to length and alter the speed they run at. I've never messed with video before so simplicity is the thing.
