Went and checked my UCAS this morning to find out that I've been accepted into University!

I got my results through.

A in ICT
B in film studies
B in photography
D in general studies

It's annoying, admittedly I dossed off last year and didn't do as well as I could have.
In my 3 film studies modules last year I got CBB, high C low Bs.
This year I got AAB, which was enough to keep me at a B, not pull me up to an A :(

Nevermind, I'm off to Southampton Solent university to study Advertising and Media Communication :)
 
Congrats foodpoison! I haven't gone to get my results yet (School not open for another hour) but don't care so much now lol.
 
I go to one of the best sixth forms in the country so they had it online ;) aha.

Only joking mate, the only reason I go there is because it's the only decent sixth form around me. Luck I guess!

i know one of the lecturers on that course, you;ll be moving up to preston then, might see you around as im moving back to preston at the end of next week:wave:


im going BACK to uni in september to do a PGCE at LJMU
 
Very well done you two :clap: :clap: .... and best of luck at University.

Just to note, I ended-up coming back to University in my 40s. Was an awfully nice experience, though painful at the same time. Point is, get your studies out of the way as soon as possible, and then sit back and enjoy life to the full.

Again, very well done you two.

My brother in law develops computer games - rubbish hours, decent-ish pay, and the opportunity to play the latest kit/games on your dinner!! Awesome! :D

Oh, and well done!!! :)
