After a long time away I thought i'd rejoin as I am starting to get more into photography again.
Just this week I picked up my new camera (Nikon d850 and Nikor 200-500mm and sigma 105mm macro) I have shot canon for about 20 years but after trying mirrorless I wanted a good DLSR (I just cant get on with EVF) So its a steep learning curve for me, all the buttons are in the wrong place and the power button is back to front lol. But apart from that I am quite impressed with the d850.
I am looking into getting a monopod for macro as my hands shake quite a bit so it's becoming quite difficult. I keep seeing these rapid release ones (which seem like a fantastic idea) but they all seem to be high priced, does anyone know of any more budget friendly options? (such as https://www.ifootagegear.com/products/cobra3strikemonopod just cheaper)
