What's that? You never noticed I'd left?? :razz:

Oh well. Finally moved house... didn't quite go according to plan in any way at all, and after all the delays we finally ended up moving two days earlier than the date we arranged it for (g/f's landlady assaulted her, stole her keys and threw her out on Monday, so everything kinda sprung into action and we were moved in by Monday night).

Got a decent house with 3 floors, neighbours seem OK (I know some of 'em from school!), but someone's stolen the wheelybin while the house was empty and left a heap of their own rubbish in its place, and we've got a horrid gas card meter.

Other than that, been a tough few days but we're here. :)

(Oh, and hats off to www.zen.co.uk/BT for getting my internet transferred to my new address in under two days).

Sounds like the worst of it's over. Just need 3 years to finish all the unpacking now. :lol:
 
Congratulations (and welcome back !) GfK ... must be a huge relief to be sorted ... now to just get settled eh ?

Sounds like a very stressful time you just had. You can sit back and relax a little now... after you've finished all the unpacking ;)

I've done most of 'em. I'm just waiting for the last few boxes to unpack themselves.

That's a normal mistake people make, not enough belief. I have some boxes that are starting to show some promissing signs. I really think that if I give them another 3 years or so they can do it. :D
